The TD5 is the line's higher-capacity centrifuge, and what defines it is not the speed (5000 rpm, the same as the CF0506), but what fits inside it.
It takes tubes and applicators of 10, 20, 30 and 50 ml and, with the adapters, the syringe itself. That changes the workflow: the sample does not have to be transferred into a tube before spinning and back into the syringe afterwards. Every transfer avoided is one less opening of the system.
The 100 stored programs serve services that run different protocols (plastic surgery, biological medicine, PRP, PRF, fat) without reconfiguring the machine in between.
The imbalance protection deserves a note. A rotor loaded out of balance at 5000 rpm is the classic failure mode of a benchtop centrifuge; here the machine stops rather than insisting.
