Echogenic, in radiology, is the material that reflects the ultrasound wave and returns the echo that forms the image on screen.
The Echo SAFE finish is designed to give a circumferential, clear and bright view of the cannula TIP. The tip is what matters: it is what reaches the target, and it is what disappears from the screen when the needle enters at a steeper angle to the transducer. With circumferential reflection, the tip shows at different approach angles, not only when the cannula sits almost parallel to the transducer.
The delivery extension comes integrated: the operator's hands stay away from the field during injection, without one more connection to assemble.
