Overview

SAFE-BX is the line's vertebral biopsy kit. Access to the vertebra is made with the puncture cannula, and collection with a concave serrated cannula that cuts the sample rather than scraping it.

That matters in the lab: an intact sample is a sample the pathologist can read. A crushed fragment can cost the patient a second puncture.

The X-Grid™ matrix comes in at level and entry-point targeting, reducing the number of images needed to reach it.

Collection cannulaThe serrated tip is what allows the sample to come out whole, in a condition fit for histopathology.
