SAFE-CX Kit
Balloon kyphoplasty kit with a hybrid cannula that doubles as the biopsy device, 10 and 15 mm balloons and the X-Grid™ precision and safety matrix.
PresentOverview
SAFE-CX brings together, through a single access, the three things a kyphoplasty needs: reaching the fractured vertebra, collecting biopsy material, and injecting the bone cement.
The hybrid cannula is what makes that possible. The serrated tip works as the biopsy device; once the sample is taken, the same cannula receives the cement. That is not a logistics convenience: it is one fewer puncture for the patient.
The balloons come in 10 mm and 15 mm, with radiopaque markers at both ends for positioning under visualisation.
What the product brings
- Uni-portal access, with 10 mm and 15 mm balloons for different anatomies.
- Hybrid serrated-tip cannula: it collects the biopsy material and then injects the cement, through the same access.
- Radiopaque markers at the proximal and distal ends of the balloon, to position it under visualisation.
- Ergonomic locking handles, which keep the cannula-stylet assembly tight and aligned during insertion.
- Graduation and depth markers on the cannulated instruments.
- X-Grid™ safety and precision matrix for the targeting stage.
