SAFE-VPX is the line's vertebroplasty kit. Access to the fractured vertebra is made with the puncture cannula, and cement injection through the spiral propeller.
The propeller is rotating, and that is what gives dose control: the cement advances as far as the thread turns, rather than depending on the force applied to a plunger.
The extension line solves a different problem, and it is not about precision: it keeps the surgeon's hands away from the radiation source during injection, which is exactly when the fluoroscopy is running.
